The energy of being kind to others

Loving Kindness is a wish that everyone is happy and when you radiate this feeling to the rest of the World you begin to generate healing energy for yourself and for those around you.

  • Always begin with kindness towards yourself, this allows your heart to open with tenderness.

  • Try imagining yourself as a young child standing in front of you (5 years old) send tender feelings of kindness towards the child. Pay attention to the feeling in your body. This feeling is loving kindness and is accessible to you, always. Now say the following out loud, May I be well, may I be happy.

  • Bring someone else to mind and send them loving kindness. Say May you be well, may you be happy.

  • Hold on to the feeling of loving kindness and think about somebody else, perhaps someone you don’t know very well, as a store clerk. Say, may you be well, may you be happy.

  • Send this energy to whomever you want and then to the rest of the World, think of every living being and say: May they be well, may they be happy.

Raise your consciousness with prosperity thoughts and feelings.

Having thoughts of prosperity can create a prosperous world around you. Always believe that you are prosperous.

Say the following out loud “I am prosperous, I live a flourishing life of success and good fortune surrounds me” Emphasize the words, Prosperous, Flourishing, Success and Fortune.

For the next 5 minutes, keep the above words in your thoughts.

Sit on the floor or in a comfortable chair, with your back straight.
Set a 5-minute timer.
Join the tip of your ring finger with the tip of your thumb, do this on both hands.

Say the following “I am prosperous, I live a flourishing life of success and good fortune surrounds me” then say the words one by one, Prosperous, Flourishing, Success, Fortune. Say these words over and over or think only about these words and the statement above. Allow no other thought into your mind. If your mind wanders, bring it back to the words.

When the 5 minutes are over, breathe in the words, and breathe them in as follows:

Breathe in through your nose and in your mind say “Prosperous” (do not exhale yet)

Breathe in through your nose and in your mind say “Flourishing” (do not exhale yet)

Breathe in through your nose and in your mind say “Success” (do not exhale yet)

Breathe in through your nose and in your mind say “Fortune” then exhale

Do you love the feeling this process generates? Repetition is essential. I encourage you to practice this in 5-minute intervals for no more than 30 minutes at a time.

When you think prosperity thoughts:

  • You will begin to see life in a whole new light.
  • You will discover the inner power
  • Your health will improve
  • Your relationships will improve
  • You will discover true abundance in your life.
  • Your self-confidence will increase.

Having these prosperity thoughts daily will trigger a feeling of joy, bliss, and happiness.

Just breathe

A while ago I set out to seek a new relationship to life. I had a burning desire to let go of all my insecurities and self-doubt, I desired to be more connected to my heart and soul and step into effortless self-confidence while enjoying a new depth of self-love. Furthermore, I wanted to heal all discords in my intimate relationships and became more aware of my inner life, my thoughts, my feelings, my dreams, desires, and motivations.

A transformational tool helped me achieve all of this, It revitalized me and gave me a sense of clarity and belonging. I found a depth of love I’d never come close to before, I found a path to spiritual empowerment and a path that led me to guide others. I use this tool to create luminous thoughts, ecstatic emotions, and pure pleasure.

The transformational tool I am referring to is the breath, it is the most ordinary thing, and also the most extraordinary thing! Breathing is simple and pretty basic that I use to underestimate its power. I overlooked it and took it for granted, I don’t remember giving it much thought at all, until now.
Consciously breathing in certain ways is a combination of ancient wisdom and modern science, it can awaken pure life-force energy, creative healing energy. I have learned to consciously use this energy in many different ways. I found that each one, when used correctly will produce a certain result. The common forms of breath-work include Breath Awareness, Clarity breath-work, Conscious Breathing, Holotropic breath-work, Re-birthing breath-work, Shamanic breath-work, Transformational breath-work, Vivation breath-work, and Zen Yoga breath-work.
My book “An enlightened path to self-discovery” covers a few of these forms of breath-work but focuses mostly on breath-work for awakening calming forces within. The breath work techniques I  share are all self-directed processes for stress relief, relaxation, focusing on the current moment, inner peace,  spiritual insights and combating depression. The techniques can be used for relaxation or to simply energize yourself. It can be used to boost your passion or to change your behavior. It can be used to access the unconscious mind, or open you to altered states of consciousness. It can also be used in meditation, which I highly recommend.

Log off, shutdown and spend more time in nature.

These days, I have an inseparable connection to Mother Nature, a sacred connection. I enjoy her vibrancy, her light, her beauty, and her love. I have infinite respect for her and I radiate gratitude and love when I am in her presence. I feel her powers of healing, compassion, unity, and love. They create stillness in my soul and I am filled with peace.

This was not always the case for me. There was a time when I did not care much for being in nature. Coincidently those were the days I suffered from depression. Is there a link between depression and not being connected to Mother Nature? I certainly believe this to be true.

You are either connected to Nature or you not. If you are open to the healing power of nature, it will open up your state of true awareness. Nature will win your heart and heal your soul, simply by its captivating existence and powerful stillness.

Being out in the sun has many benefits, one of the most obvious is exposure to vitamin D. If you don’t get enough vitamin D, you will probably suffer from osteoporosis and be at risk of cancer, and Alzheimer’s.

A few years ago, I had a vitamin D deficiency and I can tell you for certain that it was not a good experience. I constantly felt fatigued, I had bone and back pain, I got sick often and suffered from depression. I took high doses of vitamin D to feel better. If you have any of these symptoms, I suggest you take some Vitamin D supplements and get a daily dose of sunshine.

When I am in the surroundings of nature, I make a concerted effort to be in the present moment. When I am in a forest environment with lots of trees, a deep peace emanates from being in the present moment, it settles into me. At this moment, I use my senses, I touch the trees, I enjoy the smell of the trees, I look at every detail of my surroundings and I listen to the sounds of nature. I allow the calmness of the moment to infiltrate my heart, my mind, and my soul. Fear and doubt begin to dissolve. I get an intoxicating feeling of strength, courage, and determination. When in nature, I am undoubtedly blessed with pure love, light and an abundance of joy.

I enhance my experience with the following breathing technique: I inhale through my nose for 3 seconds, hold my breath for 3 seconds, inhale through my nose for 2 seconds and hold my breath for 3 seconds, I then inhale through my nose for 1 second and hold my breath for 3 seconds, I then exhale completely through my nose and repeat the process for as long as I need.

This process allows me to be in the moment and appreciate my surroundings.

Here are some other benefits you will get from spending time in nature:

  • Your immune system will be boosted
  • Your sleep pattern will improve
  • Your blood pressure will be lowered
  • Your stress levels will be reduced
  • Your mood will drastically Improve
  • Your ability to focus will increase
  • Your energy levels will increase and your recovery from surgery or illness will be accelerated.

Depression can be treated

Depression is an illness characterized by persistent sadness and a loss of interest in activities that you normally enjoy, accompanied by an inability to carry out daily activities, for at least two weeks. In addition, people with depression normally have several of the following symptoms: a loss of energy; a change in appetite; sleeping more or less; anxiety; reduced concentration; indecisiveness; restlessness; feelings of worthlessness, guilt, or hopelessness; and thoughts of self-harm or suicide.

When you suffer from depression, talking about depression is a vital component of recovery. The stigma surrounding mental illness, including depression, remains a barrier to people seeking help throughout the world. Talking about depression, whether with a family member, friend or medical professional; in larger groups, for example in schools, the workplace and social settings; or in the public domain, in the news media, blogs or social media, helps break down this stigma, ultimately leading to more people seeking help.

The risk of becoming depressed is increased by poverty, unemployment, life events such as the death of a loved one or a relationship break-up, physical illness and problems caused by alcohol and drug use. Depression causes mental anguish and can impact on people’s ability to carry out even the simplest everyday tasks, with sometimes devastating consequences for relationships with family and friends. Untreated depression can prevent people from working and participating in family and community life. At worst, depression can lead to suicide. Depression can be effectively prevented and treated. Treatment usually involves either a talking therapy or antidepressant medication or a combination of these. Overcoming the stigma often associated with depression will lead to more people getting help. Talking with people you trust can be a first step towards recovery from depression.

3 steps to change how you feel.

I used to suffer from depression and anxiety. Back then I had no idea how to get myself out of that state. If only I knew then what I know now. Now I have a toolbox of quick and easy ways to snap out of a bad emotional state. One such tool is a three-step process that works every time.

Change your body language

Once you acknowledge you’re in a bad emotional state, make a change to your body language. If you are sitting down, try sitting up straight; in fact, make any change to your body as long as you make a conscious change to your physiology.

Change what you’re focusing on

Chances are you’re focusing on something negative or worrying about something you cannot change or feel hurt by what somebody has just said to you. Whatever it is, immediately change your focus on to something that will make you happy as long as you change your focus. You cannot think more than one thought at a time. If it’s a bad thought, imagine that you’re sitting beside a river and watching your thoughts go by; each thought is on a log floating in the river. Let the ones that are bad for you float by and choose another thought, any other thought, and if that thought does not serve you well, choose another.

Change the words you’re using

You are most likely using the wrong words when in an emotional state, so change the words you are using to yourself and to others, and choose them wisely. Each word has its own vibration of frequency that can positively or negatively affect you. Dr. Masaro Emoto’s work in capturing intention in water proves that each word or thought projected into water produced a different geometric form, much like snowflakes. Positive thoughts produce beautiful, symmetrical geometry, negative thoughts, not so much. Why is this important for you? Because your body is made up of more than 60% of water and every word you use or think changes the geometric form of the water in your body, which ultimately leads to your state of mind. Choose your words wisely.

An emotional state can also be changed by breath- work. Check out my page on this. Click here
